i finally had time & i finally dyed all the feathers!

they look really good~ they are all very different!

it was a long process... i got to practice my multi-tasking skills :]

it took a lot longer than i thought- and since this was my first time around, i had to teach myself techniques (after i talked to the woman from Etsy i bought the dye from), but i figured it out quick & they all came out beautiful!

i need to make a trip to bowling green! & erynn and i are going to start again on our jewelry & accessories!

I've been waiting for these feathers to come in & they are in! Time to dye them yay! I've also been outbid on every saddle I can find... they are ridiculously expensive & really hard to find. I do not have the patience to mess with that soo I'm still looking for new ways to get bulk feathers for less moolah. I wish I didn't even have to charge people, I mean come on...they are rooster feathers! But, after searching & searching for feathers online & driving around town, buying the dye & dyeing them, I have no other choice!


But I have adjusted one thing...


NEW PRICE OPTIONS:

If you'd like to find cheaper ones, be my guest!

1. Check eBay or Etsy

2. There, you will find "wholesale feathers" (20 feathers for $40) or u can purchase a bundle of 3 for $12.50 (don't forget shipping and the beads & pliers)

3. A shop called Lucy POP Salon (Nashville) does a bundle of 3 for $35, $10 for each additional feather

(Don't forget gratuity!)

4. Pay lots of money for a bunch of feathers, buy the dye & DIY!! like me!


Otherwise HOLLA ATCHA GURL FOR SOME FUNKY FEATHERS!!!
