ELECTRIC FOREST

where do i even begin.... there is no possible way i could put into words the magic i experienced at this festival. we had planned on going, then decided we didn't have the means to attend, and then last minute we decided we had to go. although i wouldn't have known what i missed out on, i don't know how i could keep on living my life without going to this music festival. it was hands down, the BEST experience in my long years of festivals.

the people i met, incredible
the forest, magical
the amount of people, brilliant
the land itself, breathtaking
the staff, one of a kind
the stages, marvelous

i honestly don't have one negative thing to say about this festival.

THURSDAY:

we drove all day (me, blake & dima in one car, and nick & jesse following us) & got there right before Jesse (KDSML) played at the silent disco (silent frisco), which was amazing. if you have never been to a silent disco, you should really check it out! we went back after his set & set up camp & just chilled & drank & braced ourselves for the weekend ahead of us!

FRIDAY:

it was SO NICE waking up in your tent at 10-11am & not suffocating (like at Bonnaroo). the weather was fantastic. we went to the Elm & Oak Beach Stage which was right on the lake. surprise guest: Paper Diamond killed it! Blake bought a new hammock & we just explored the forest & took a little nap in the hammock- sooooo nice!

MUSIC I SAW ON FRIDAY:

Fungineers, Break Science, Dispatch, Baauer, *GRIZMATIC*, SCI, Holy Ghost!, Passion Pit, & Krewella 

Grizmatic (or BigGrizMatic) was one of my favorite shows. it was definitely one for the books!

 I seriously cannot remember the last time i saw so much music at a festival. it's so easy to see so much music because you don't have to walk 500 miles to get to the next stage. & it's all so beautiful you just can't help but skip around!

SATURDAY:

i slept in *in my tent, might i add* until 4pm... it was awesome because i didn't sleep the rest of the festival!
